Synopsis: They say you never forget your first love and that’s definitely the case with “The Notebook” adapted from the Nicholas Sparks best selling novel by director Nick Cassavetes and screenwriters Jeremy Leven and Jan Sardi. As This sweeping love story is told by a man (James Garner) reading from a faded notebook to the woman (Gena Rowlands) he regularly visits at a nursing home, His words bring to life the story of a young couple from two very different worlds in North Carolina (Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams). Separated by her parents and then later World War II, they passionately reunite 14 years later after their lives have taken different paths. “The Notebook” reveals an epic story of love lost and found, of new beginnings and second chances.
