Synopsis: In this smart and sophisticated romantic comedy, Audrey Woods (Julianne Moore) is a high profile divorce attorney who has never lost a case. She s all business and completely together&. at least in the courtroom. Audrey s latest opposing council, Daniel Rafferty (Pierce Brosnan), is new in town and appears to be easy prey. But looks can be deceiving.... After an evening of sparring and drinking Audrey awakes to a huge shock when she looks at the pillow next to her and sees Daniel. Things quickly go from bad to worse when she looks at her hand and sees a ring to match his! Vague dream-like images of a marriage suddenly become real. A leak to the press presenting the irony of a marriage between two famous divorce attorneys whose careers are made by divorce makes a quiet end to the union difficult. In an effort to keep up appearances until the matter can be settled, the two move in together.
