Volition.com New Movie Promotions Official Contest Rules
("Official Rules")
The "Volition.com New Movie Promotions" Contest (the "Contest") is
offered by Volition.com LLC. Volition.com LLC hereinafter will be referred to as the
"Contest Sponsor".
Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant's ("you" or
"your") full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official
Rules including the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which are final on
all matters relating to the Contest.
1. Basic Information: No purchase is necessary to enter to win.
Maximum one entrant per household. Maximum one entry per day.
Duplicate entries in one day or by multiple household members (even if using different addresses to try and get around this rule) will invalidate all
entries made by you. Once entered in the Contest, you are eligible to win
the Prizes as described below. Any questions, concerns or comments
regarding the Contest can be forwarded to webmaster@Volition.com. All dollar
amounts are in U.S. dollars.
Advance Screening Prizes consists of 1 pass good for 2 people to attend a special advance screening of a new movie.
(No cash value.)
NOTE: You must arrive early as seating is limited to theatre capacity and is not
guaranteed. Seating is first-come, first-served. Theatre is overbooked to ensure capacity. Theatre is not responsible for overbooking. The pass does not
guarantee a seat. No one will be admitted once the movie begins. No one
will be admitted without a pass.
Prize Pack Prizes include promotion items for the movie.
We do not know what these items are until they arrive from the movie studio.
Prizes have included and can include, but are not limited to or by the following: a poster, T-shirt, hat, back pack, book, a soundtrack CD, key chain, toy, coaster.

2. Contest Dates: The Contest begins at the time it is posted (the "Contest Start Date") and ends at 11:59:59 pm MST on the date specified on the entry form (the "Contest End Date"). The period between the Contest Start
Date and Contest End Date is known as the "Contest Period".
3. Who Can Enter: The Contest is open to residents of all countries, who have reached the age of majority in the state or province in
which they reside. Employees of Contest Sponsors, their affiliates and
agents, participating sponsors, contractors and immediate family members
(defined as parents, children, siblings, and spouse) of each employee,
together with those persons with whom such employees are domiciled, are
not eligible to enter.
4. How to Enter: To enter online, go to www.Volition.com/MovieTix and you will see
the current promotion(s). Click on "Click here to enter the contest." and follow the instructions to
complete the electronic entry form. All entrants must provide your name, address, and email address.
(Entering with a non-working e-mail address will invalidate all entries made by you.)
Entries for advance screening passes can only be made by those residing in or near the city where the screening is to be located.
To enter online, you must have a web browser that is compatible with
Netscape 4.7 or higher, Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, AOL 4.0 or
higher, or a web browser compatible with these browsers. The Contest
Sponsor is not responsible, whether as a result of human error or
otherwise, for any failure to contact any selected entrant, so please make
sure the information you provide is accurate and current.
5. Selection of Winners: Random drawings for all Prizes will be
made from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, by the
Contest Sponsor at their offices.
6. Notification and Redemption: If you have been drawn as a
selected winner, the Contest Sponsor will notify you via email.
Prizes will be shipped to winner by the United States Postal Service. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for lost, mis-directed or late mail. (Prizes returned as undeliverable as addressed will invalidate all entries made by you ever.)
7. Chances of Winning: Chances of winning the Prize depend on
the total number of eligible entries received at the time of Contest End
Date.
8. Privacy: The Contest Sponsor will be collecting personal data
about you for the administration of the Contest.
You may specifically request to be completely removed from
participation in the Contest. No
such personal data will be transferred or sold to any third party.
9. Publicity: Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for
the Contest Sponsor to use the winner's name, likeness, voice and comments
for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without additional
compensation unless prohibited by law.
10. Restrictions: The following are prohibited and will result
in automatic disqualification from the Contest: (1) entering the Contest
under more than one email address at a time; (2) entering the Contest more
than once except as noted in paragraph 5; (3) viewing or tampering with
the Contest Sponsors' systems, source code or data; (4) using any method
that artificially increases odds of winning; (5) non-compliance with these
Official Rules; and (6) any other act which the Contest Sponsors determine
in their sole discretion, jeopardizes the integrity of the Contest.
11. Winners List:
For an Official Winners List (available after the Contest Period) or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Volition.com "MOVIE_TITLE" Promotion (replace MOVIE_TITLE with the actual name of the movie), P.O. Box 86412, Tucson, AZ 85754-6412. (Please specify Official Winners List or Official Rules) Residents of VT may omit return postage for rules requests. By entering the contest, you grant the Contest Sponsor permission to send
contest updates and winner notification, specials or promotions and/or
newsletters/updates to you.
12. General Terms and Conditions:
Only legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older are eligible to enter.
This Contest is void where
prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state,
provincial, and municipal laws. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to
terminate or withdraw the Contest at any time, without prior notice. All
taxes, fees and all other expenses and surcharges on prizes are the sole
responsibility of the prize winner. The Contest Sponsor makes no
representations or warranties regarding any awarded product or prize. By
participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to release and hold
the Contest Sponsor and its respective employees, officers, directors,
shareholders, agents, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies and legal advisors
(collectively the "Released Parties"), harmless from any and all losses,
damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the
Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize,
including without limitation, any loss, personal injury, death, property
damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of
privacy.
All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor. "Released
Parties" are not responsible for any injury or damage to persons or
property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part,
from an entrant's participation in the Contest or from downloading any
material from the Contest Sponsors' Servers or from any other Internet web
site, regardless of whether the material was prepared by Contest Sponsors,
or a third party.
CONTEST SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY THE CONTEST IF
FRAUD, TECHNICAL FAILURES INCLUDING ANY NETWORK, SERVER OR HARDWARE
FAILURE OR ANY OTHER FACTOR BEYOND THE CONTEST SPONSORS' REASONABLE
CONTROL IMPAIRS THE INTEGRITY OF THE CONTEST AS DETERMINED BY THE CONTEST
SPONSOR IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION. IN THE EVENT OF SUCH IMPAIRMENT, THE
CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT BUT HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO SELECT
WINNERS AT RANDOM FROM ALL REGISTERED ENTRANTS AT THE TIME OF SUCH
IMPAIRMENT, AS DETERMINED BY CONTEST SPONSORS IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION.
The Released Parties are not responsible for any technical, hardware,
software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network
connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network
transmissions or entries that are stolen, misdirected, lost, late,
damaged, or ineligible, which may limit your ability to participate in the
contest.
Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable to cash. The
Contest Sponsor reserves the right to make prize substitution of
equivalent kind and value.
